Curry Powder

You can vary the ingredients and quantities according to taste. Curry Powder can be stored for a long time, but gradually loses its flavor. Recipe makes 3/4 cup.


1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
2 tablespoons ground coriander
1 tablespoon ground cumin
1 tablespoon coarsely ground black pepper
2 tablespoons ground ginger
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
2 teaspoons chili powder
2 tablespoons powdered turmeric


1. Mix ingredients well.
2. Refrigerate in airtight container.
